Leading the Way in Passive House Construction

eHaus are New Zealand’s top Passive House design firm and was established in 2010 by Jon Iliffe and Baden and Glenda Brown with a dream of creating a New Zealand owned and operated specialist design and construction company using PassivHaus build and design principles. 

In 2024 Inspired Projects Limited purchased the eHaus licence for Hawkes Bay as we recognised the importance of changing the way houses are being built in New Zealand and wanted to partner with eHaus to be a part of building these homes in Hawkes Bay. We fully align with their ethos and design principles, ensuring each home is sustainable, energy-efficient, and beautifully designed. eHaus ensures every detail is meticulously crafted, using innovative techniques and sustainable materials to deliver a home that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also high-performing and built to last.

Every eHaus project is energy modelled using the Passive House Planning Package. This tool allows eHaus to accurately calculate just how much heat energy is saved when compared to a typical new home build in the same climate region.
